Rock Trust’s Youth Housing Hub in Perth is a dedicated space for young people aged 16–25 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Perth and Kinross. 

Whether you need housing advice, support with your mental health, help finding work, or just someone to talk to – you can drop in and speak to one of our workers without needing a referral or an appointment. We’ll listen, work out what you need, and help you take the right next steps. 

The Hub brings together the full range of Rock Trust’s housing support under one roof, to make sure young people can access coordinated help and clear pathways into housing, education and employment. We also work in partnership with existing local services across Perth and Kinross – so even if our services aren’t right for you at the moment, we’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

Housing advice and emergency support

If you’re homeless, at risk of losing your home, or unsure what your options are, our workers can help you understand your rights and take the right next steps. If you need emergency accommodation, we can guide you through making a homeless application to Perth and Kinross Council and support you through that process.

Employability and skills

Practical support to help you access work, education or training. We can help you explore your options, building confidence and work to remove any barriers to employment you face at your own pace. Our workers connect you with our Future Builders programme and local partners including Perth College UHI and Skills Development Scotland.

Health and wellbeing

Support for your mental health and emotional wellbeing, building resilience, and developing the social and practical skills that make independent living sustainable — not just achievable. Find out more about our Health & Wellbeing services.

Visiting support through Youth Boost

If you’re already in your own tenancy and need ongoing support to maintain it, our Youth Boost visiting support service works with young people across Perth and Kinross. In 2024/25, 83% of young people supported through Youth Boost maintained their housing or moved into safe, stable accommodation.

Early intervention and prevention

Rock Trust’s Upstream Scotland schools-based prevention programme is active in Perth and Kinross, working with young people at risk before they reach crisis. The Hub provides a clear route into further support for young people coming through that pathway.
