Our Edinburgh Hub

Our Edinburgh Youth Housing Hub is a friendly space in the heart of the city where we offer a drop-in service and provide 1-1 support and groupwork opportunities.

With a purpose-built café, group space, garden, and private counselling rooms, we offer a range of opportunities for 16-25 years olds affected by or at risk of homelessness.

What’s on offer

Advice around housing, benefits, and employment.
Wellbeing and food provisions.
Signposting to other support services within and outside Rock Trust
Support through our Rent Deposit Scheme and Housing Fund (As of May 2026 – Funds for this are currently paused)
Volunteer membership programme
Group activities and programmes to support well-being and upskilling.

Drop-in or get in touch, and one of our youth workers will help you identify the advice and support that’s right for you. Once engaged with our Hub, you’re also invited to get involved in a range of opportunities to influence and shape Rock Trust’s wider work.

Art Group

Each week*

Weekly open art space. Come along and make art, chat and listen to music. No artistic experience required.

*We host art sessions occasionally with varying times and dates, so please check our WhatsApp group regularly for updates!

Housing Advice Drop-In

Every Wednesday (9am – 12:30pm)

Drop in for young people seeking information and advice on housing options.

Freshstart Vounteering Group

Every First Tuesday of the Month (1pm – 3pm)

Monthly group volunteering activity – gain skills and experience to add to your CV. Held at : 22-24 Ferry Road Drive, Edinburgh, EH4 4BR. Please contact the hub team for more details.

The Welcoming Association

The Welcoming Association and Rock Trust have teamed up to provide a new group for young New Scots aged 16–25. Join our monthly sessions to meet others, build friendships, and learn about support services and other local opportunities.

This session will take place on Tuesday June 16th (1pm – 4pm) at Edinburgh Open Workshop (EH6 7BQ)

First Aid Training

Learn emergency skills and gain a certificate with British Red Cross

Wednesday June 17th

(2pm – 3.30pm)

Weekly Music Group

Weekly on Friday (1-3pm)

Join us for musical collaboration, inspiration and co-creation with Tinderbox. No musical experience required, and you’re welcome to bring your own instruments.

Weekly Gardening Group at the Edinburgh Royal Botanics

Learn about nature and horticulture skills in our weekly group at Royal Botanical Gardens

Thursdays 11:30am – 1:30pm

Barista Training Workshop (Every Month)

Wednesday 13th May (4pm – 6pm)

Learn the skills of a professional barista with the expertise of Origin Coffee.

This session will take place at the hub – 55 Albany Street Edinburgh. To book a spot please contact the hub team.
