Why we need support
Housing is a human right, but housing alone won’t end youth homelessness. What prevents homelessness and stops it from recurring, is early intervention and tailored support.
That’s where your help becomes vital. Some of the most transformative parts of our work, mental health services, skill development, youth work, drop-in services, and outreach in schools and communities, are made possible through grants and voluntary donations from partners and funders.
Your contribution is key – it powers life-changing frontline services and helps us lead the change Scotland needs to make youth homelessness a thing of the past.

We are always on hand to help our supporters make their ideas and events a reality and promote their fundraising, as well as sharing the impact of every penny they raise.
We have an exciting calendar of events whether your team prefer an adrenaline inducing zipline, challenging yourselves to walk over hot coals on our firewalk, or making some time for team bonding on a marathon relay or long-distance Kiltwalk – we have something for everyone!
Our supporters and partners receive exclusive invites to events and opportunities to get closer to Rock Trust and hear first-hand stories of our frontline work. We can also deliver online training to your team at a time that suits you.
We work with a range of supporting partners who donate skills such as training, tech support, property services, donating goods and more. We would love to explore what skills your team could share – everyone has a secret talent!
Our young people often struggle with affording the essentials. You can support us with donations of food, toiletries, gift cards, new home packs, and furniture. There are many different types of donations tat could make a huge difference to a young person experiencing homelessness or a young person living independently for the first time.
Make an impact with tax free donations direct from your monthly salary. All you need to do is let your employer know the amount you want to give and the frequency. Each gift will be sent to Rock Trust from your pre-tax wage, tax free, without you having to do anything.
