We provide youth-specific support across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Glasgow, Perth and Fife. That means support designed around where you actually are in life, not a one-size-fits-all service. Whether you need emergency housing advice, somewhere stable to live, support with your mental health, or help getting into work – we can help, or connect you with someone who can.

Housing Support for Young People

We help young people access a home and maintain it, so you can have the security and stability you need to focus on your future.
Emergency Housing Advice
Locations Available: Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, West Lothian
No young person should be left without food, clothing, or support. We provide immediate help in crisis, including housing and benefits advice and access to essential supplies.
Health & Wellbeing
Locations Available: Edinburgh, Borders
We help young people look after their mental health and well-being, through art therapy, counselling and group work, so you can concentrate on moving forward with your life.
Employability & Skills
Locations Available: Edinburgh, Glasgow, West Lothian, Perth
We help young people get ready for what comes next. Through tailored employability support, volunteering, peer-led learning and group sessions, you can grow the confidence and skills needed to access fair work, education or training.

Yes. All of our services for young people are free of charge.
In some areas, access to our services is by referral from another organisation. In others, you can contact us directly. The best way to find out is to make an enquiry; we’ll let you know straight away what’s available in your area.
If we can’t help you directly, we’ll do our best to connect you with a local service that can. Our Get Help page also has council housing team contact details for every area we work in.
The council has a legal duty to provide emergency accommodation if you’re homeless. Rock Trust is a registered Scottish charity, providing specialist, youth-specific support that works alongside, and often in partnership with, the council and other services. We’re not a replacement for making a homeless application, but we can support you through that process and beyond.
