Overview

Rock Trust’s Annual Review 2024–25 looks back on a year of progress towards our mission to end youth homelessness in Scotland.

Over the past year, we continued our mission to end youth homelessness by expanding services into new areas, and continued to lead the way in prevention, housing and youth-specific support. Alongside frontline delivery, we strengthened our role as a system leader, influencing policy, piloting new approaches and working in partnership to drive lasting change.

The review brings together impact data, young people’s experiences and reflections on what we’ve learned, alongside our priorities for the year ahead.

Highlights from the year

During 2024–25, Rock Trust:

• Supported over 1,100 young people to avoid or move on from homelessness.
• Moved our Glasgow base to Govan and launched a new youth housing hub.
• Established a housing and homelessness co-production group with LGBT Youth Scotland.
• Expanded services across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Glasgow, Perth and Fife.
• Continued to develop early intervention and prevention, including a year one evaluation of our schools-based Upstream programme.
