The Compass Project works with young people who have a history of being looked after, offending and/or homelessness.

The project offers medium term support, in an adaptive way, around 4 key issues; moving on to a sustained tenancy, managing finances, entering employment, education or training and becoming confident and able to interact positively with others by developing meaningful relationships.

The project does this by providing a drop in service, a week-day duty service for those in housing crisis, group work, mediation and mentoring – all of which are underpinned by focused 1:1 work with key workers.

While the majority of the group work happens within The Underground Cafe on Albany Street, we also work on an outreach basis to best meet the needs of young people.
