Why? This event is vital for raising funds for The Rock Trust. We support some of the most vulnerable young people in our society, working to enable them to build the personal skills and resources required to make a positive and healthy transition to adulthood, while avoiding or moving on from homelessness
We have organised a postcard art exhibition and auction in Edinburgh every two years since 2007, and were hosted in previous years by the Traverse Theatre and Castle Fine Art. This is our 5th exhibition and one of our biggest fundraising events.
Over the last eight years, we have been lucky enough to be supported by a wealth of great artists, including Callum Innes, John Byrne, Alexander Miller and John Wilson.
The 2013 postcard exhibition raised over £12,000 for The Rock Trust and we would like to generate even more funds and awareness this year.
So, it doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned art expert, an enthusiastic amateur or you just want to help us to support homeless and vulnerable young people… we need you to come to the exhibition at the Summerhall this June and bid for your favourite piece!
Please come along, bring your friends and family to Summerhall, browse the art and bid on your favourite piece.
