Our Under 21 Sleep Out a special sponsored Sleep Out event just for young people aged 12 – 21.

Last year, 80 young people raised £9,000 to support the Rock Trust’s work with homeless and vulnerable young people.

This year, 190 young people took up the challenge and raised an incredible £17,385 to help us support some of the most vulnerable young people in our community. A massive thank you to all the young people – as well as their parents, support workers and teachers – who gave up their Friday night to Sleep Out so another young person doesn’t have to. You are all amazing!

Thankfully the rain, hail, sleet and snow didn’t make an appearance on the night but the brave souls who slept out on George Street did battle against minus temperatures. We had a silent disco to keep everyone warm (dancing!), as well as the very talented Kevin Quantum to keep everyone amazed and entertained.

We could not have organised and run this event without the support of the staff and volunteers of the Rock Trust, many of who stayed up all night to manage the event.

We have held our Under 21 Sleep Out at the Saint Andrew’s and Saint George’s West Church on George Street for the last 15 years and are delighted that the event is growing year on year.

We can’t wait until next year!
